Compedium of Curiosities- Challenge6

The challenge this week at StudioL3 can be found on page 66 of CofC. It is a multimedia collage.

My background is a copy of an old map, which I stencilled over. I used a page from an old French book [I got this for free, but still dont like to tear it up.] to cover my letter and shapes. Also used a stamped image of Mona, wild honey distressed ink, a few bits and pieces that I thought added interest, then, scattered straw distress stickles to highlight the letters.

Thankyou for stopping by to take a look.

  2. Mona is undoubtedly proud to have such a gorgeous new home! Beautiful job with the multi-medium technique-- those pieces look like porcelain! Love the map in the background and the thoughtful way you embellished this, too. The black mesh is a brilliant touch and such a great contrast.

Can you tell that I love this?? ♥

  3. Fabulous you have created so much depth using the map as the background, Maps are great arn't they? and then the layers of stamping and mesh and covered shapes love it. Know how you feel about tearing a book it is once of the hardest things to do but your results justify it. xx Zoe
