Woodlands.

This card I have made for a challenge swap on Flickr [Hugz from the Heart] , the theme being Thanksgiving.

For this card I used a Crafty Individuals stamp, shaded it to fit in with a colour challenge. It is mounted on a card which I embossed with a Tim Holtz 's Pine Tree folder and a few leaves. The ribbons came from my stash as did the Thanksgiving setiment. The base card again is chocolate brown

I will also enter it into the following challenges.

Lets Ink It Up--Make a Scene

Gingersnap creations--GC76- Colour challenge, Pumpkin, eggplant and avocado

Tuesday Taggers- Deep Purple

Happy Halloween everyone.

This week the challenge over at Tuesday Taggers is Deep Purple Halloween, once again sponsered by The Craft Barn

For this tag I used stamps by Elusive Images, embossing the tombstone and rook. The borders are a Martha Stewart punch. It is coloured with distress inks, spiced marmalade, dusty concorde and peeled paint. I used distress stickles over part of the tag, to give it , I hoped, moody look, this hasn't shown up so well on the photo.

KIS- Take a Bow.

The challenge theme this week over at Keep It Simple is to include a bow.

The stamp I used for the image is by Bo Bunny, to shade it a little , I used antique linen distress ink. The card base is chocolate brown, unfortunately it looks black on the photo. The ribbons from my stash are an antique gold colour.

This weeks theme over at Lindas Studio L3 can be found on page 61 of Tims' Compedium of Curiosties - Extreme Masking.

Well I followed the instrustions and here are a couple of my better efforts, think I need a bit more practice. I used dusty concorde and rusty hinge to colour and a selection of stamps. I made the larger piece into a card for a bloke, the smaller an ATC

C. of C.-week 17

This weeks challenge can be found on Page 64 of Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities. Please pop over to Linda's StudioL3 and see the fabulous examples for this theme, 'Fragment Charms'.

The image I used was on a Graphics45 Steampunk Debutante sheet . I added the clock face from my craft stash as it seemed to fit in with the cogs. At the moment it is on a pendant, but it may end up on a keyring.

Star of Wonder

The challenge theme this week over at Keep It Simple is 'Seeing Stars'. Once again the theme pointed me to a Christmas card. I used a Crafty Individuals stamp for the main image. For the background I used a very old star stamp, then shaded with Bundled Sage distress ink before layering up and adding the ribbon.

Halloween Triptych

This Halloween tripych should fit in with the theme this time at Lets Ink it Up the challenge was to use halloween colours.

I had great fun making it and finishing it off at the Beamsley Craft retreat.I used glimmer mist and acrylic paint to colour the background. The stamped images are all Elusive Images, a fabulous set of stamps for this time of the year. I used cosmic shimmer paint and coptic markers to colour the images , added a few bits and bobs, and hey presto, it will be in my porch with a few tea lights around it to celebrate halloween.

GC 72- neutrals and one colour.

The colour theme at Gingersnap Creations this time is neutrals and one colour. Please go take a look at the fabulous examples.

I am trying to make as many Christmas cards as I can at the moment and I think this one fits this challenge.

The stamp is a favourite Paper Artsy which I embossed. The neutral tone papers are by K and Company, layered, torn and punched. Red ribbon and a red card layer behind the stamping is my colour addition.

KIS- Thankyou

The theme for this weeks challenge at Keep It Simple is to make a thankyou card. The sponser this week is Whimsy Stamps witha super prize on offer.

I used a Nellie Snellen, Lines and Dots plate for the main part of my card and decoupaged the flower. The pigment inks I used to to colour it, are so ancient that I couldn't name them, but they still work so why discard them.

T.T.-Here Comes Autumn

This week the challenge theme at Tuesday Taggers is Here Comes Autumn, sponsered by The Craft Barn who have kindly donated a voucher to spend in their fabulous shop

For my tag, I used a Tree stamp, I think by Crafty Individuals. Used tumbled glass and spiced marmalade ink to colour. The leaves were die cut using a piece of scrunched up paper that I use to mop up any unused inks, so they are a combination of many colours. Well crafters don't like waste do they.
