Tuesday Taggers-Make a Scene

This week over on Tuesday Taggers the challenge is to Make a scene.

I used Original Art clear stamps, a street from the English Garden series, coloured with coptic markers. The forground on the tag is lighter than it looks here.

Studio L3- challenge 4 -Shabby Chic

Shabby Chic was the challenge I found on page 49 of TH book this week. . So what in my stash did I have to try this out.

I had a piece of grunge paper, which I covered with black acrylic paint. Still no distress embossing ink, but the versamark seems to work okay. I used a favourite floral stamp. My top paint covering is an Adirondack Buttercup dabber. I have used the resulting piece as a layer on a vintage card.

Thankyou for stopping by to take a look.

The Craftbarn- shaped card theme

Over at the Craftbarn there is currently a competition to make a shaped card. There are some beautiful examples

I have made a Fan shaped card , a bit of a challenge for me. Each piece was decorated before I added the main images. The stamps I used were old favoutites, including a couple of Stampington and Co. The distress inks were dried marigold and victorian velvet. A stud with Life on it is keeping the tassle in place.

Thankyou for stopping by to take a look.

Stampman ATC swap- Wings and Things

The first swap for ATCs over at the Stampman is, Wings and Things. I have used butterflies as my embellishment to these two Atcs. The images are stamped and coloued with disress inks.

Thankyou for taking time to have a peep

Tag You're It - Uncle Sam

This weeks challenge over on Tag You're It is Uncle Sam.

So my first thought was help! I haven't anything that fits this theme. After browsing the net for clues, I typed Free American Clip Art into my Google bar and Phew. I came across these little treasures. The red background is stamped with tickets.

This is the result, thankyou for stopping by to take a look.

Ready Steady Stamp - challenge24

My ingredients are

A rectangle book, masculine theme, dry embossed background, embossed main image. a postage stamp, metal embellishment and I used distress inks for the green shades. The ribbon is brown, the postcard cream.

Studio L3-Challenge3 Alcohol/Monoprint

I have been looking at this amazing challenge for a couple of weeks now at Studio L3 and finally taken the plunge and had a try.

This week it is Alcohol/monoprints. I only have few inks the the choice wasn't difficult. I used butterscotch, oregano with gold mixative for the background, needless to say I was a lovely shade of both these colours, the stamps are from Tim Holtz, Natures Discovery plate.

Thankyou for taking time to take a peep.

Tuesday Taggers -Wedding

This weeks challenge at Tuesday Taggers is a Wedding theme.

The background has a Love poem stamped on it and a piece of certificate paper, and edged with distress ink. The church is a stamped image from a crafting friend. Some lace and flowers for decoration. Now my confession,--a peel off bride and groom, [but coloured with promarkers] don't know how long they have been lurking in my craft stash. Add to that a touch of flower soft on the boquet, completes my tag.

Thankyou for stopping by to take a look.
