Tags you're It - Cup Cakes

This week challenge for Tags you're It, is Cup Cakes, now who can resist a cake.

The background is stamped with a selection of tiny cakes. I used pro markers to decorate the large ones, with a sprinkle of glitter on the icing [it didnt show up so good on the photo]. Words stamped onto a ribbon and card candy complete my tag.

Altered wall box - for my tags.

I found this box in a charity shop recently, it seemed just right to diplay and store all the tags I have made recently.

The first stage was to remove the apple [I have future plans for that] then I used a blue acrylic paint and cosmic shimmer mist to cover everywhere, alot of me as well.

After adding a couple of swirls, some flowers I thought it still needed something. The embellishments were moved about a bit and some charms added, then I created a removable template for inside the back of the box. The current one's theme is birds, using some favourite stamps. This will let me change the look in future.

Tuesday Taggers - Shoes

The challenge this week is Shoes, Glorious shoes.

After searching around for a while, I found a pair of mules, which I eventually used as the clock hands, well it was a start. The die cut shoes I think came from a friend.

The blue sparkling boots, are a stamp. So that was the shoes sorted.

Now, who would be thrilled to own all these, a groovy chick came to mind, and a good excuse to use a stamp thats been screaming to get out of the packet.

Tag you're It - Ribbon embellishment

This weeks challenge was to make your own ribbon embellishment.

I decided to make a small woven ribbon panel and added a charm for a bit of interest.

The base tag is stamped with a few embossed butterflies.

Tuesday Taggers - Vintage Bookmark

I love reading, so this weeks challenge is going to be very useful.

The background is stamped with an old french script, embossed flowers, then lightky distressed. The image is a rub on, punched out flowers, lace, a butterfly etc. complete the bookmark.

Tag you're It - Inspired by.......

Inspired by.......so many things-

a loving family, the changing seasons, natures bounty, the awe inspiring work of other crafters.

The list is endless.

My tag this week is inspired by the amazing products and gifted, artistic talent of Tim Holtz.

The stamps used are from Stampers Anonymous, Natures Discovery plate. Distressed inks and embossing completed the background. Then I added the flower, made with the new Tattered Floral die.

A new friend to join blogland.

Last night my very good friend from Docrafts Cazro, and myself had a super telephone conversation. They was many "oh dear me's!! etc" but it helped her to get her blog up and running.

Tuesday Taggers- All that Blooms.

Another lovely challenge, so still in caravan land, this is my effort.

Stamped distressed background, artificial flowers that Helene is sitting down to admire, before she waters her garden.

Tag you're It-Needle and Thread

Well once again a limited supply of things to use, still leading the nomadic life, but slowly wending our way home.

I have used some sewing stamps to create the background, buttons and lace that I am afraid were stuck down. The words on the small tag are "Love is the thread that bins us together" so I have managed to get 'thread' somewhere into my tag.

Tuesday Taggers- Touchy Feely Texture

Well this challenge had me thinking hard. Here I am in a caravan, miles from civilisation with a greatly reduced craft stash to use. My limits for take away stuff are a box and a small cupboard.

So the background is distressed ink dabbed with a kitchen roll. happily I had some sewing stamps to use. The button was a spare one they give you free on a new blouse.

A piece of mesh and fibre, wire found in a drawer,tiny and a tiny piece of lace.

A lovely theme this week, gave me the opportunity to use my new Polly stamp, so there she is sitting on a branch chatting away to a little bird, whose wish for everyone is,-- Happiness always.

I used pro markers, cosmic shimmer paint and a little distress ink to colour the tag.
